Magento 2 Store Pickup: User Guide

Installation

Never do anything directly on a live store. First, setup and test it on your development domain (i.e. “dev.your-domain.com”).

Make sure that you set your Magento application to the developer mode.

To avoid any possible issues with the installation we recommend disabling Magento cache before proceeding with the installation and re-enabling it once the install is complete.

Upload Extensions

Unzip the extension zip file and upload all files and folders of Backend and Store Pickup extension to the root folder of your Magento installation.

1. Enable Acx_Backend and Acx_StorePickup modules.
2. Upgrade and deploy

Configuration

To configure Pickup Locations for your customers, you need to configure the pickup points. To do this, login to Magento backend Admin area. After login to Admin, do the following configurations:

1. Carrier Settings

On the Admin sidebar, click on Agile Codex -> Multiple Store Pickup Settings -> Carrier Configuration. The Carrier configuration section will be appeared like the following screenshot:

• Enabled: Select Yes to enable, No to disable.
• Display in Frontend: Select Yes to display on frontend, No to disable on frontend.
• label: Name of the Carrier
• Pickup Locations: Add pickup location
• Calculate Handling Fee: Fixed/ Percent
• Handling Fee: Handling fee floating point value for example, 5.0 or empty for no fee
• Shipping Country Type: Select allowed countries
• Display if Not Applicable: Select Yes to display always, No otherwise.

Payment Configuration

On the Admin sidebar, click on Agile Codex -> Multiple Store Pickup Settings -> Payment Configuration

• Enabled: Select Yes to enable, No to disable.
• Enabled in Frontend: Select Yes to enable on frontend, No to disable.
• Title: Title of the Payment Method
• Payment Country Type: Select allowed countries
• Payment Instructions: Write Payment Instruction
• Display In all Shipping Method: Select Yes to display with all shipping method

Store Pickup Shipping Front view:

1. Add a product to Cart
2. Go to Shipping section on Checkout
3. Select Store Pickup (Multiple) from Shipping Methods

Store Pickup Payment Front view:

1. Go to Review & Payments section on Checkout
2. Select Cash on Store Pickup from Payment Methods
3. Place Order.
